No school on Monday due to Parent Teacher conferences. Took the kids to Legoland for an awesome day with no lines!
Water shoes all around.
I never let Tyler dig for fossils in this giant sand pit since we're always rushing to get on rides. But it was so dead that day that they took their time playing here.
Mini water play area. The Chima waterpark was closed that day.
There's a large water play area in Legoland itself. The kids could have played there all day.
Kids loved the Pirate's ride where they shoot water guns.
Seriously no lines at all. We're ruined for future visits!
First day of Chinese school. Tyler's in the Wednesday CSL class level 2 now. I gave up on the Heritage speaking class on Sundays mostly because of the mean teacher they had last year that was going to be teaching the same kids this year.
Tyler's friend Nevan is turning 8! Bday get together at the pool after school.
Friday night met up with ICDC crew at Pieology at the Marketplace. Always fun times with these gals and their moms.
Saturday started Katelyn at soccer in Blades/Slammers U5 program. No set teams for these young kids. It was SO hot, unbelievably and their practice was 12:45-1:45. The peak heat and timing (right in the middle of Katelyn's nap time) didn't work in our favor and about 40 minutes in Katelyn was done. Awww.
Sunday morning we had a bunch of things to do that day and couldn't make it out to Costa Mesa for church. Instead we went to my friend Carol's event at her church. Pretty cool, they had a children's Christian music singer come in to perform. Katelyn was all into it, dancing and waving her arms. Tyler not so much.
Sunday lunch met up with my BFF from elementary Tiff and her hubby at the Anaheim Packing District. Yes, we left Irvine! Very cool, hip, trendy place.
And lastly a video of KK singing a Korean bear song:
