Labor Day fun! .. (Week 373/235)

Labor Day we headed up to my parent's place for a family BBQ.  Love their little baby Mitch, finally got to hold him (last time he had pinkeye).  The kids were really excited to all get to pick out a guppy for my parents' giant fish tank. 

Tyler's pet rock.  He came up with the mummy idea all by himself!  Will wrapped it in gauze and we glued some googly eyes on it.  It came out pretty cute! 

First official day back to school at Katelyn's Montessori.  Summer sessions are over and they're back to academic work.  Whoohoo!  Love that she's got a nice group of close girlfriends there now.

Will took the kids to the driving range.  We try to do a sport a few times a week, switching between golf, tennis and basketball.

Tyler's second grade teacher Ms. Chaky's birthday this week.  Already donated to the class fund for gifts but had Tyler bring in a potted plant as well. 

Boys reading after school.  They all got new books from the Scholastic Book Club, except poor Tyler who I don't really buy books for (that's what the library is for!).

Officially signed Katelyn up for Gymnastics on Thursdays. She loves it!

Very exciting - Tyler had the most Dojo points in his class this week and got to be Dojo leader!  He was very proud of himself.

Saturday morning we did some prep for our trip and then met up with my friend Yoko/Harmony at Home Depot for their little builder's workshop.  We got there late and they ran out of the Wizard-of-Oz dollhouse so instead my kids made toolboxes. 

Saturday late afternoon we went to my friend Priscilla's house for a pool playdate, then dinner at their house.

Sunday church!  Katelyn was very excited to go again.
