More Family Reunion Fun and Legoland!.. (Week 367/229)

Whoohoo to more family time!  Kareen and her family spent the night with us Sunday night and Monday morning I pulled her out of bed to go on a run with me.  We did Peter's Canyon and I may have made a wrong turn that led us up and down really steep hills.  Oops.  Still fun!

Borrowed M's lagoon key again and took the cousins there in the morning.

Pretty draining from the heat and we all napped and hung out the rest of the day.  Tuesday morning bright and early we headed to Legoland!  Again.  Yes.

Wednesday we headed up to my parents place for more family time.

Wednesday evening we went back to the OC and went with our friends on a boat ride through the Newport Harbor.  With the craziness of the last many days, I definitely needed a nice and quiet night.  Great company and fun.

Thursday Tyler had a birthday party for his BFF Aaron.  I dropped him off with his friends and took Katelyn to meet the family at the Fullerton Arboretum.  O M G was it hot!

Katelyn ate her first raw carrot stick.  It was like pulling teeth.  It seriously took her like 30 minutes to finally finish that stick.  All her cousins were pressuring her too because I wouldn't take out the Hi-Chew until she finished it.  Haha!  Even little Landon said: "Katelyn, Eat it!".    At one point I thought Leah might secretly just try to eat it for her.

After Will came home we headed up to Hacienda Heights and then all out to Monterey Park for a Peking Duck banquet!  We had a private room with two banquet tables.  Perfect - one was with all the kids and one was for all the adults.  Best birth control ever watching my siblings constantly getting up to help their little under-1-year olds.  Will and I just sat there and enjoyed the Peking duck, haha!

Back at Hacienda that night.  The kids all hung out and enjoyed each other's company.

Friday - last day of the reunion.  WAAHH!  We all color coordinated per family (my brother's strong suggestion) and took a huge family photo on my parents' porch.  Ridiculously hard to get 10 kids to look at the camera at the same time, plus 10 adults!  My dad's family rolls 20 deep!

My brother even snapped some individual ones of the kids.

Made some yummy shish kabobs for dinner.

It was my youngest niece Sarah's 1st birthday this week!  She has the honor of being the only cousin to have everyone in attendance for her birthday!

Happy birthday video to Sarah:

Swim meet on Saturday!

This picture cracks me up because of all the various styles of 'diving' going on.

Saturday afternoon was Katelyn's friends Lindsay/ Isabella's joint birthday party at Stonegate.

Sunday morning we headed out bright and early to meet our friends the Maos at Din-Tai-Fung in Arcadia.  What a drive!  But oh so delicious!

And ended Tyler's quick summer break with another pool date with friends.
