happily ever after: First day of Second Grade, and Legoland Again.. (Week 368/230)

Woodbury Elementary starts back on Tuesday so I took the kids to Discovery Science Museum on Monday for a last mini outing. Picked up Jordan as well.

Took Tyler to get sealants on his back molars - for prevention sake.

First day of Second Grade! Tyler said he wanted to be a dentist.

Tutti Frutti playdate after the first day of school.

Here's Tyler with his 2nd grade teacher Mrs. Chaky. Apparently she is amazing! We are so lucky to have her!

Katelyn got in on the pool fun at Tyler's swim practice this week.

Had lunch with my friend M for her belated birthday at Lemonade at Fashion Island.

I even volunteered this week for their Paper doll project. The kids basically pick the clothes and fabric they want their doll to wear (it's supposed to symbolize them) and the adults cut out the clothes and glue it on the doll.

Tyler even got to enjoy a quick playdate with his friend Brady this week as well!

Friday night over to my friend Yoko's new home with Katelyn's ICDC crew. It's an Elsa party! The kids rolled their own dough and made their own delicious pizzas.

Swim meet at Heritage Park! Last one for most of the kids since they're not swimming in championships. Everyone was there! Tyler even beat two of his fastest times!

Christine and I were timers. Joy.

Tried to meet up with our friends for dinner at Boiling Crab that night but the line was too long and it was too late for the kids. Instead we went to nearby Mitsua in Costa Mesa and had ramen in their food court. We don't let the kids look at electronics anymore and instead I bring them an activity book or something to read/draw.

Sunday. Will's first time joining us at Legoland! Overcast day. Got there super early, just how I like it, haha!

We met up with our friend Joan and her family. The kids had a great time! I was exhausted though and we cut out earlier than planned. Thank goodness Will was there to drive us back home!
