Back in school, and back to waking up super early to get the kids ready to go in the morning.
Tyler was Star of the Week the first week back, which meant we procrastinated doing his poster and other preparations until right before the week started. Hah!
Katelyn is really excited about her friend Liv's upcoming Frozen birthday party. The invitation came with a 'make your own snowman' package!
I went to Tyler's class this week when he read a book to his class. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The boys were very interested in listening - the girls not so much.
Miss Hassine sent me some photos from Tyler's Share Day.
We REALLY need to work on Tyler's penmanship.
ICDC Family Fun Night. We still support our old preschool! It was held at Chipotle and KK saw some of her old friends.
Friday. It's happening. To celebrate my girl Trina's birthday and pending divorce, we had planned a Vegas trip back in January. And it was finally here! I was really antsy as it approached because honestly, I am too tired to be partying it up in Vegas. But OMG what an amazing time we ended up having! It was such a nice weekend away where I felt young again! Got to Vegas a little after lunch time on Friday. Had some drinks and then headed to the pool lounge Rehab at the Hard Rock where we were staying.
I apparently lost my phone at the pool, but found it later at security (whoo!). Some napping before clubbing that night. I, ahem, didn't make it to dinner, and um, barely lasted at the club (Body English) for an hour before I went back upstairs to the room to shower and go to bed. I was hurting!
Will, meanwhile, was assuming sole parenting duties. Here's KK's baseball game.
Look how much the girls are paying attention to the game going on.
Saturday we had pho for brunch and then did some shopping at the Forum.
Everyone was ready for fun that night!
Sunday KK and Will had some one-on-one time after Tyler went to Chinese school and they had breakfast together. I missed her so much when Will sent me this photo!
