Happy Birthday Katelyn x3,and All Stars Basketball Game!. (Week 346/208)

Tyler's piano is progressing well.  He's practicing more on his own now, and sounding pretty good!  Maybe because he knows I'm not happy when he has a so-so lesson.  Check out this crazy sofa at his piano teacher's house!

Tutti Frutti after school for Tyler's friend Brady's birthday.

Our furry Mojo.  Getting old.

Wednesday night we got together with Katelyn's ICDC crew for dinner and a mini celebration for her upcoming birthday.  I booked the private room at Tokyo Table and set up some fun activities for the girls.  I printed out their names on each of the boxes, and everyone got Tiaras and favors.  Then they decorated the boxes with stickers and did some crafts (bracelet decorating and these cute paper doll decorations).  The parents hung out and had happy hour drinks!

With basketball season, we decided to put Tyler in a weekly Basketball academy where he can practice more.  It's pretty cool because they are actually learning techniques.

Baseball practice on Thursday again.  Missing ballet though!  The girls were excited with their new pink helmets.

Rainy day on Friday.

Went to lunch with Connie/Janet to celebrate Connie's birthday.  We went to this yummy brunch place in Santa Ana.  It was CRAZY pouring on the drive, quite an adventure.

Playdate in the afternoon, isn't Katelyn so excited to play HeadBandz?

Birthday party on Saturday for my friend Heidi's daughter Hailey in Pasadena.  SO FAR!  It was at a place called Amy's Playground.  Pretty much an indoor playground.

More HeadBandz at home!

Sunday - Katelyn's mini birthday party at Casey's Cupcakes.  Party at 12, and Katelyn fell asleep in the car in the morning.  I was worried she was going to wake up grumpy but thank goodness she was OK.  Princess themed so all the girls wore princess dresses.  Katelyn wore this fancy Cinderella costume I got 50% off last Halloween that was too big.  It fit finally!

I wanted to do something low key and simple for her birthday - nothing crazy like last year!  Casey's cupcakes I barely had to do anything and it was a minimum of 10 girls so that's how many girls we invited.  Easy peasy!  They do all the decorating and everything!

Started out with a strawberry lemonade 'champagne' toast.

Favors were Sophia stuffed dolls and Sophia plastic cups/straws.  On sale at Disney Store!

Tea Party for the girls with pink lemonade.

Crafts!  These cool empty-faced cutouts and stickers of stuff for them to each decorate.  After that they had paper faces with sticker jewelry to

Our little princesses.

Nice and easy little birthday party for KK!

Katelyn's poses with her friends always crack me up.

Bottoms up!

After the party we booked it over to Tyler's All - Star Basketball game.  So proud of our little guy for making it on the team.  Not too thrilled that this team never practiced before the game, not even once.  The coach didn't know any of the kids except the ones from his own team.

Family dinner Sunday night to celebrate Katelyn's birthday again.  Will's parents made black bean noodle.  Delicious.

Lastly a video of KK at GFM singing/goofing off:

Whew, what a week!
