Warm week - started off with some frozen yogurt for the kids after school. We've got a nice little routine going - Tyler does his Kumon at Panera Bread after school and he gets a big cookie snack while he works. Then we pick up Katelyn and go get Tutti Frutti right there if it's a hot day. Really enjoying these times together with the kiddos.
Look who even ate some brussel sprouts and said she liked them!
Soccer practice on Tuesday. More time for these BFFs to hang out.
The girls got some playing time too.
Katelyn and her little sibling friends hanging out after dropping off their big bros at first grade. Tiffany, the little girl on the left, is almost as big as Katelyn and she's almost a whole year younger. That's CRAZY since Katelyn is already so tall for her age!
Wednesday I got to see my friend Melissa, her last week working in Irvine. Introduced her to the delicious CPK sangrias!

Got a quick cut and color Thursday morning in Garden Grove. $40 for the whole thing. Amazing price, yes?
Afterward my friend Connie came over for lunch (I picked up Brodard's yummy spring rolls while I was out there) and brought Pimms. Yum!
Friday - kick off meeting for our upcoming camping trip! Yes, we had a kickoff meeting. And also tried out a new crepe place here in Irvine. We like to be prepared!
Minimum day that day so we all headed to Cypress Village park for the kids to play for a bit.
Woodbury Ice Cream Social that evening. Katelyn was so excited to see Noemi there. Tyler and his friends had a great time too!
Saturday, soccer game where Will spotted Kobe Bryant! Totally bummed I missed it since Katelyn was home napping. How exciting, right? His daughter plays in our league.
Saturday afternoon we headed up to West Covina to see my friend Shirley's new baby Jimmie. Awww, he's so tiny! The kids had fun playing with Sharon.
Then stopped at my brother's place in Rowland Heights on the way back to pick up some camping stuff.
Sunday Chinese school. Will was off playing golf with some friends for his birthday so I was on kid duty that day. Picked up Tyler and Katelyn liked wearing his backpack. Then had basketball at Irvine High, where Katelyn was excited to do this addition notebook I had bought a long time ago for Tyler!
She even got her nails done while we were there.
Dinner that night I met up with girlfriends at Javier's at Spectrum for dinner and drinks. How is this picture so blurry? Headed to Yardhouse afterward for a nightcap.
Fun week! Hopefully the next few weeks fly by!
