First week of Fall Break!
Monday Tyler had iCamp with Jordan. He was VERY excited to go because he knew he got to spend all day with Jordan.
After I picked up the kids we met up with my friend Susy and her kids at Northwood Park. Katelyn loves Noemi!
Tuesday bright and early I took Tyler to Disneyland with my friend Christine and her son Brady. They were very excited. The boys had a lot of fun! So much fun that I let Tyler skip Kumon that day since I knew he needed to take a nap before soccer that evening.
Soccer practice!
Wednesday was Will's 37th birthday. Happy Birthday honey! We had a nice kid-free lunch at All That BBQ. YUM. Bonnie was nice enough to take Tyler for a few hours so that we could have lunch ourselves.
Doesn't Will look like a natural with baby Ryland?
On the way to pick up Katelyn, Tyler had his first ever piece of gum. Really!
Happy Birthday Will!
Thursday morning - lagoon playdate! Fun for the kids and mommies.
Thursday night, after ballet, ICDC dinner with Katelyn's friends! Fun for the girls and the (different set) mommies again!
Friday morning - early birthday brunch with girlfriends at PDM Bakery. VERY yummy. Super sweet girls, so genuine, so lucky to have them in my life!
Friday afternoon, happy hour with more girlfriends.
Look at the magic of filters - no wrinkles. Amazing!
Saturday. Happy birthday to me! Started it off with a free Pure Barre class with my friend Janet. OMG it was hard. Tried 'the buzz' at Nektar for the first time. Might be my last - for both, haha!
Tyler had picture day for his soccer team that morning too.
In-laws took us out for lunch to celebrate our birthdays. Went to Urban Plates, so tasty!
Picked up a cake at 85degrees afterward. Katelyn missed the photo since she was napping already. She was adamant that she was tired and wanted to nap, even with the enticement of cake!
The fun is beginning! Garners brought their kids over by 4pm. Tyler was still at a soccer game (they needed him to make sure there were enough kids to play). Vanessa babysat the kids. Up to this moment I still had no idea what Will and they had planned for the night. NO clue whatsoever! Found out finally that we were going up to LA for dinner (Bottega Louie- YUM) and then watching Dane Cook perform live at the Orpheum. Amazing!
Food was so delicious.
Great seats! Only 10 rows back!
Look who was sitting a couple rows ahead of us - Sarah Hyland from Modern Family!
Wonderful fun night!
Sunday - basketball again.
Special week since it was both our birthdays. Another year!
