Monday was Labor Day. Will, along with Jeren, Sung and Gil headed out for a morning of golf. We had leftover Kalbi from the waterpark playdate the day before - so what better reason to get together and eat it! Of course I ended up buying more stuff as well. Bonnie/Jordan/Kendall and Susy/Nevan/Noemi came over before lunchtime. The kids played while we chatted and then the dads all came over after golf for lunch. FUN times.
After naps, we headed over to the Garners for some more korean BBQ. They have a nice sized little pool in the yard that the kids played in for a bit before they lost interest. They always have a good time together.
Tuesday, back to school. Katelyn has been insisting on wearing dresses EVERY day. Tough when I didn't get around to doing laundry due to the busy long weekend. Look how pretty she is here!
Tuesday was soccer again. HOT.
I came with Katelyn separately for a bit and she played with Kendall and the other little girls in the park.
Wednesday morning, KK got to hang with Kylee at drop off for their big brothers.
Grabbed a quick coffee with my friend Hanna.
Picked up the kids and had frozen yogurt - silly kids.
Friday I had lunch with the Kumon mommies to celebrate Paula's birthday.
Quick little playdate at Jordan/Kendall's after school. SO hot.
For dinner we headed over to Gen in Tustin to celebrate our friend Joyce's birthday. The kids were all preoccupied with their electronics. Dinner was at 730, so crazy late for us! Lots of food and soju and beer.
After dinner Will took the kids home and I hung out with the group and we went bowling at Irvine Lanes. Yes, it's a ghetto place but the other kids were coming and it was only place that allows kids. Fun times, even thought I'm horrible at bowling. REALLY horrible.
Saturday morning. First soccer game of the season at 8am. We all woke up at 7:45am. YIKES! Rushed to get Will and Tyler out of the house on time. The kids did well, I think they might have won. Not bad for their first game! Tyler even scored one of the 2 goals for the team!
Crazy day - straight from soccer Will picked Katelyn/I up and we headed over to Wintersburg church in Santa Ana for their last basketball game. SO HOT. Afterward there was an award ceremony and lunch for the kids. They loved their little trophies!
Afterward, home for naps. I had plans with some girlfriends that changed last minute and we were free when Bonnie suggested that we head to the lagoon. It was hot but I'm always down for the kids to have fun! The kids played and we enjoyed some sangria (yes, it's a theme here). It totally cooled down by the time we got there in the afternoon so it was a really nice and relaxing evening.
Sunday morning - the kids all got much needed haircuts. Will included.
Then in the afternoon we headed over to the in-laws for dinner.
