Exhaustion is setting in as we're down to the home stretch. One week away from D-Day. I am so ready for this to be over and done with - I can only study as hard as I can and do my best! Please send your good vibes this way!
It is a total bummer though, that the kids are missing out on some fun social activities! We've already missed a couple of birthday parties and now this upcoming weekend we're missing out on a couple super bowl parties as well! One of my best friends from high school is having her bridal shower this upcoming weekend and I have been the worst excuse for a bridesmaid. Thank goodness she has 3 other girls that are putting together a great shower on Saturday. I'm just bummed that I won't be really able to hang out and enjoy myself - I am just a huge ball of stress these days! Lack of sleep is starting to really affect me and Starbucks has become my new best friend (love the free refills and that the CSULB library has one right inside!). Ok, enough distracting, back to studying for me!
K with pigtails! It was wacky hair day at school this week and Katelyn came home with her hair in pigtails. LOVE her with pigtails! Not too wacky though, you say? Apparently Will requested not for them to get things too wacky. He likes Katelyn with little pony-tails. :)
We had a social outing Friday night that I actually participated in! We needed to eat dinner anyway and since it was our friend Jen's birthday, we all went out to dinner at the Counter. There was a strange dynamic going on between our two boys though - they were both extremely sensitive about the sharing of some toy cars. Afterward they all ran around and played on the big lawn at Woodbury.
Katelyn is almost a year younger than Kylee, but she is 29 pounds vs. Kylee's 23 pounds! They're also just about the same height!
Last weekend Will took the kids out of the house again. Studying at home is tough with them! Good thing we have a Boomers card with a LOT of points (that's how you get the mega bonus!) and the kids enjoyed riding the different things there.

And lastly, fun in our own backyard! It's been quite windy lately and our yard is once again covered in giant pine needles. Normally it would bother me until it was at least somewhat raked together, but I am paying them no mind at the moment. My cleanliness standards have definitely laxed this past month...
Ooh - Will said this was Katelyn going through the "Drive-thru". Apparently Tyler is the fast food attendant. ...
Have a good week! WISH ME LUCK!
