September - One Republic and Family Photos

9/1 Back at it for violin lessons!  Its nice to come up a little earlier sometimes and have dinner with my parents and my brother's family.  

9/2 One Republic at the Honda Center!  Will and I have always been fans of One Republic (we saw them at the Hollywood Bowl before too!) and its nice that our kids are into them too.  Tyler likes the cello player in some of the songs.  Will got some cheap tickets at the Honda Center for us to take the kids.  I had NO idea how nosebleed these seats were.  I've never been this high up and I seriously was worried for my safety (I kept having images of me tumbling down the steep steep steps to my death).  Not ideal.  We are not sitting that high again.  The kids enjoyed it though!  We even had time to stop by the Anaheim Packing House for dinner beforehand.  

9/8 Friday after school is usually a playdate day.  The kids go over to a friend's house or their friends come over.  

9/9 Night out with girlfriends!  Had a nice night out with my girlfriends Trina and Mariam - but strangely enough we didn't take any pictures?  We hung at a hotel in downtown LA - they spent the night but I headed home (this pregnant mama needs her rest!).  Somehow I ended up with this silly funny video though!

9/10 Family Photos!  In hindsight, I regret taking these family photos so early (even though I was already 30+ weeks).  I am not a fan of how I turned out in any of them, but the kids look great!  These are just the pictures that we took, I'll post the actual ones from the photographer later. 

9/16 Date Night with friends!  As part of a mini birthday celebration, we did one of those Escape Rooms and then had dinner afterward.  My inlaws watched the kids overnight (although, we were home quite early) and sent us a picture of them hard at work.  Haha!

9/17 Grace City Church.  We tried out a new church in our neighborhood and then the kids had a nice playdate at a friend's house.  Best part was that Will/I got to run some errands san kids.  Man, this pregnancy is really dampening our style, haha!

9/17 Dinner with Shirley!  Surprising news that our good friends are moving to New Zealand!  Since we're leaving for NYC soon we won't be around for their last couple weeks and going away party.  Thank goodness we were able to squeeze in some time before our trip for dinner.  

9/21 Fall Break has started!  Our first week the kids came to work with me - they hang out and read/homework/iPad.  Thank goodness my work environment is so flexible!  Tyler even managed to squeeze in a playdate.  Love the little notes that KK writes me and draws on my board.  

Miscellaneous!

My friend Grace is always at the kids' school volunteering with things.  She'll send me random pictures throughout the day of things the kids are up to!

Um, life is perfect - KK will offer (on her own!) to rub my feet with lotion!  Yes that is my giant swollen calf!  I am an elephant I tell you.  I think my leg is pregnant too. 

Have I mentioned my pet project of growing succulents?  I underestimated how much time it'll take for me to construct my succulent wall...
