happily ever after: Swim Practice, Father's Day and Birthday Parties!. (Week 361/223)

Swim Team practice has started this week. Tyler's super excited this year because he has his whole crew on the team with him this year. It'll make the season so fun! Our local community team is more of a 'learn-to-swim' team for the younger kids so it's really chill and laid back. Key word is to have fun! You can tell we're not at all competitive.

Had lunch with my girlfriend Melissa. We used to work at Boeing together. It was good catching up!

Katelyn had her first playdate this week where I wasn't present. I was super nervous that she was going to be a handful or something, but turns out she was great! I took Jordan to swim first and my friend Bonnie brought Katelyn to meet us afterward.

Hoag Classic Wednesday night. My good friend Jen runs the Special Events at Hoag Hospital in Newport (where our kids were born). They throw these big events where donors come and donate tons of money. She had extra tickets and invited us! Super fun. All these restaurants of Newport set up booths with delicious samples of their food. Oh and did I mention it was open bar? We had a great time!

Swim practice is Mon-Thur 3:45-4:30pm. Just enough for the kids to get a warm up and swim for a half hour straight. The little sisters hang out too!

Father's Day event at Katelyn's school. The kids sang songs for the dads and had gifts as well. Will said the songs sounded just like the ones from last year, haha!

Quick visit from Auntie Trina!

After school pool playdate with Katelyn's friend Alyssa! After many hours at the pool we headed over to their house and hung out with my friend Priscilla.

Birthday party on Saturday for Jenesis at Sunset Beach. Amazing house and ridiculously close to the beach. Fun times and seeing all these gals.

The kids loved playing at the beach. Makes me wonder if we should take advantage of being so close to the ocean and take them more.

After naps in the car we headed to Kendall's Jammy Jam birthday party at Pump it Up. Fun as usual with the crew!

Happy Father's Day Baba! Hands down the most wonderful father and husband the kids and I could ask for.

Mojo's settling into his new haircut. So plush!

We took Will's parents out for lunch for Father's Day at Zov's. They liked the food but thought it was too pricey (surprise surprise). The kids both managed to somehow bang their foreheads during the same meal. Katelyn fell out of the booth and hit her head on the ground in her excitement to greet gpa and Tyler was messing around and hit his head hard on the corner of the table. They shared an ice pack. Gpa has sworn off ever going back to the restaurant again due to the bad luck these kids had there!
