Quick playdate with Tyler's BFFs before swim practice. Tyler loves having his friends over but it's such a hassle since we're further from everyone.
Auntie Trina, second week in a row? Amazing!
We try to get to swim a little earlier so the kids have time to play before practice starts.
Swim team photos this week! How cute are they all in their little tight swim shorts?
Chinese flute practice with the grandparents!
Tennis practice with the kids. Katelyn didn't last too long.
Continuing on with Tyler's piano lessons. He's getting better at practicing on his own. The first couple days after lessons are tough though since we have new material. Hair pulling tough!
Birthday party for Katelyn's friend Chloe at Northpark. Love these little girls she's made friends with this year. Unfortunately most of them are older and going to Kindergarten.
We decided to take Katelyn out of Montessori for the first Summer session. The school allows you to take off one of the Summer sessions and still hold your spot for Fall. The first session coincided perfectly with Tyler's month long Summer break, so no brainer! Brought gifts for her teachers on her 'last' day.
End of the school year Picnic at school that day. Super hot!
Pool playdate!
Dinner and drinks with Jen and Marj! Always fun times.
Swim meet trials. It's run like a real swim meet but the purpose is to get baseline times for all the kids' strokes. The kids were really excited! Will went early and set up our canopy and table so that we all had somewhere to hang during the meet (8am-1pm)!
Video of Tyler's backstroke time trial:
Birthday party for Allison afterward at this crazy huge pool in Stonegate!
Took it easy the rest of the afternoon, and celebrated the official first day of Summer with eating dinner in our backyard.
Sunday we met up with Will's old college friends who were visiting from the Bay Area. We went to Cucina Enoteca. Yum!
Birthday party for Thalia Saturday afternoon at her house. The girls had a great time!
