Another week of Spring break. Warm weather so the kids get to enjoy pool playdates. Pool on Monday.
Spent some special one on one time with Tyler and took him to eat one of his favorites - dim sum at Capital Grill at the Spectrum.
Katelyn's new bathing suit! Got it at the Gap Outlet last weekend at Cabazon. Super cute and kind of retro, right? Pool again!
Video of Tyler and KK swinging:
Woke up the next morning to a sleeping KK nestled in our bed. Love these moments.
Pool a third time this week! Different pools each time, what's not to love? Even had pizza delivered for the boys' lunch.
Movie date with my kiddos. Before 11am, tickets are only $6 each! We watched Mr. Peabody.
Golf class.
Then our little ballerinas.
Celebrated Bonnie's birthday with some shopping and dinner at Tokyo Table with girlfriends.
Easter Egg Hunt on Friday at Katelyn's school. I volunteered in their class and it was adorable to watch how excited the kids were gathering eggs. There was no hunt since their playground has almost no hiding places. We ended up just scattering them on the lawn for the kids!
Katelyn's friend Alyssa is pretty shy and quiet, and only got a few eggs. Katelyn was nice enough to share with her many of her own eggs.
Kumon assessment for Katelyn that Friday afternoon. Cutest thing ever.
Saturday Will and I had a date night (mostly because the kids missed Vanessa and wanted to see her) and we went to see Captain America. Jen joined us as well!
The kids love Vanessa, she was a wonderful teacher to them at ICDC.
Katelyn
drew the following pictures that night all by herself. One is for her
friend Kylee and the other for Vanessa. Those are butterfly wings and
not buttocks by the way!
Impressive work Katelyn. Writing about rainforests and orangutans!
Discovery Science Center visit this weekend.
Video of KK playing the harp:
Another hip hop trial class, and Yogurtland afterward with friends.
Check out this Bomber jacket I got for Tyler back when I was still at Boeing. Fits KK now!
Discovered a new app that makes silly photo comic strips. Kids had a hilarious time posing for photos.
And lastly, Sunday night dinner with the grandparents!
