happily ever after: Thanksgiving Week, Dad's Retirement Lunch and Vegas!.. (Week 333/195)

Look at our little tea party princess Katelyn! Got the dress and headband at Target! We got Katelyn's school photos back. Cutest photos ever. Totally cuter than any one we ever got from ICDC.

Tyler loves having Jordan over for video games. Thanksgiving break this week, the boys were off all week. Had Jordan over for a playdate on Monday.

Took the kids to watch a movie at the dollar theater - Planes! Will was able to get off work early and join us too!

Tuesday I took the kids to my dad's retirement luncheon. They were so well behaved and super cute! Glad we could be there to support my dad.

Wednesday. Will and I dropped Katelyn off at school and Tyler off at iCamp and.. headed to VEGAS! SWEET! Stopped at a yummy Thai place for lunch and then checked in at Aria. The room was only $91 a night, with a $50 resort credit. Amazing price! First thing of course, a drink at the bar! We even had a nice little platter of chocolate covered strawberries and cake waiting for us in the room.

Had some lucky spins on Wheel of Fortune! 400 quarters, and then a 100 $1 spin. Whoohoo! First time we actually left Vegas up!

Met up with my friend Connie and her husband Chi for dinner and gambling. They were the ones that told us about the awesome hotel deal. SO nice to get away for some time for ourselves, just for us!

Thursday was Thanksgiving. Will and I used our $50 resort credit to eat a breakfast buffet and then headed home. My in laws had picked up the Katelyn from school yesterday and my friend dropped Tyler off. They had a great time with the kids! They said the kids were wonderfully behaved. Here's Katelyn teaching grandma the hula. We had Thanksgiving dinner at my inlaws place that night.

Friday. Kareen and fam came over, yay! Leah and Katelyn were so happy to play together. Wish they lived down here. Lindon made a steamed Turkey (yum!) and Will made prime rib. Delicious dinner! We even had a table cloth and real glasses. Haha!
