Tyler goes to a friend's 2nd bday party! (week 88)

Hi everyone! Hope everyone's doing well. This week was not such a great week. First, we got a note from one of Tyler's teachers at school - apparently he throws the worst temper tantrums in his class! Really?! I thought it was normal for kids this age to be doing this, but I guess Tyler is just super-good at it. :) They even recorded some video of Tyler having a tantrum at school. It was pretty tame though, compared to some of tantrums we've seen! Here's a picture they took post-tantrum, but still in a grumpy mood. heehee. This past weekend was Will's first few days taking care of Tyler all by himself! And he did great! Each day was filled with lots of fun activities, and they got to have lots of daddy-son bonding time. :) Here's Tyler at a local park - Will loves playing with Tyler on the playground!

After lots of playing in the park and getting sweaty, what's better than a quick trip to YogurtLand!? Tyler's getting better at not getting so messy anymore too. yay!

Sunday was the 2nd birthday party of one of Tyler's friends from school, Dylan. I'm so bummed that I missed it! I hear it was lots of fun, and lots of kids too! I can't wait until Tyler turns 2 and he has his birthday party too! :) Dylan's dad is an Irvine Police Officer, so there were lots of other policemen and police cars there! Here's a picture of the birthday boy and his cake!

Tyler got to play wiffleball! Will said he was having a hard time holding the bat, but he still knew to hit the ball!

They had a little wagon that was quite popular too. The kids would take turns getting on and off, but Tyler was perfectly happy just hanging out in the back.

They had a balloon man there as well that was making lots of different balloon animals for the kids. Here's Tyler with his balloon puppy - check out the ears on that thing! Will said Tyler was busy eating grapes during the party - yay for fruit!

And where was I this past weekend? in Vegas! What was supposed to be a fun girls weekend flopped since I was ridicuously sick! I'm talking completely sick - horrible coughing and congestion, could barely hear anything and definitely couldn't taste anything, sore throat and just altogether miserable-ness. My girlfriends were busy taking Airborne - I really hope they don't get sick! Kind of ironic right? I think it was a sign that I shouldn't have left Tyler for the weekend! Oh well, it was still nice to hang out with the girlfriends and sleep during the day. :) Plus we got a few good pictures in too!

It's good to be back, and today I spent almost completely in bed or on the couch. Will has loaded me up with a ton of new medications to take, so that I'll get better quickly! I had to resort to hotel giftshop overpriced medicine while I was there and finished a whole box of Dayquil! Let's hope I get better soon!

And lastly, a couple videos! This one is a funny one, Tyler has his exersaucer that he really never played in when he was the right size for it. But ever since he's too big for it (heightwise) he loves getting into it and jumping crazily! Maybe now all those numbers/letters buttons will mean something to him!

This one is a fun one too. Will was on his way home with Tyler when they saw ducks in our community swimming pool! They pulled over and watched the ducks and talked about the ducks too!
