Sometimes when Tyler has a rough morning, he gets really grumpy and then knocks out on the way to daycare. Poor little Tyler has been getting over a cold/fever and has been super grumpy and not eating much at all! Here's a shot that Will took of him when Will dropped Tyler off at school. He was so knocked out that he didn't even wake up when Will played with him!
This past weekend was quite busy. We visited both sets of grandparents and then got into the holiday cheer by taking Tyler to see Santa at the Laguna Hills Mall. (Why Laguna Hills? Well, it's a really small mall and I'm pretty traumatized from a few years back and unable to visit busy shopping centers during the Christmas rush.) Here's a photo of Tyler and me in front of all the holiday decorations.
Our first pass to meet Santa... did not go well. Tyler was NOT having any of that. We decided to walk around for a bit until he calmed down and try again. One thing nice about this mall - they have a ton of different little rides for kids! Here's Tyler the fireman. No fires to worry about today...
Tyler the motorcyclist! He looks pretty serious here - he must be going pretty fast!
Tyler the farmer! (makes me really wish he would eat some vegetables already!)
Tyler the sports car driver! Zoom Zoom!
I even got to do some light shopping (Limited - everything 40% off!) and Tyler joined me in the dressing room. He was checking himself out in the mirrors. Looking good Tyler!...
And then he tried to crawl into my changing room...and hit his head! Ouch.
And finally, we decided to head back to meet Santa again. This was the best photo was got. Heehee. I guess it's pretty normal for kids his age to freak out when they meet Santa. Last year he had no problem at all!
What a quick post! My only video this week is of Tyler putting on my mineral powder in the car. Silly Tyler. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas! I sure hope the rain clears up though - it's been so cold!

yeah. i wasn't sure how jake would respond to santa and he did surprisingly well! i'll have to take a pic of the pic from his school and put it up! :)
I've never bothered trying santa cuz Annie has ALWAYS been freaked out by santa. Actually, she's freaked out by strangers, so we've never had to stand in line for pictures. Now it's a tradition! NO santa for us! Bah-Humbug!! =)! So when are you guys visitingg?!
Wow that's an awesome mall with so many rides! Aw poor Tyler, Santa looked pretty scary. HAHA my favorite picture is the one of him on the motorcycle. Look at him go! He's totally in the zone.
Come to think of it, would anybody leave their kids with an old man in a red suit any other time of year?? Hahaha, just kidding.
Maybe it was only because this Santa looked pretty "real" and less cartoony. Then again, toddlers get freaked out at Disneyland too. Hmmmm.
There is always next year...
:)
oh Kathy! You should have sent out that picture for xmas! totally hilarious...i know he's crying and all...but when he's older, he'll be laughing!!!
