happy thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone - hope you guys all had a nice holiday break! :) I was definitely looking forward to some time off work and relaxation, so one out of two isn't bad.

Check out Tyler's chubby thighs!
Tyler's first Thanksgiving was QUITE hectic! Our whole family gathered at my parent's place for the past several days, and it was crazy and fun! Whole family = 10 adults and 4 kids. It was definitely very exciting. :)

Here's our extended family! Last year at Kareen's wedding there were 12 of us, and now, just a year later - we've got two more! From the back left is my brother and his wife, Will and me, Kareen and Andy, and in the front are my parents and my sister and her husband. It was really funny looking through all the takes of this one photo and watching what all the kids were doing. This is the closest that I could get to everyone looking at the camera.
First about last week though. Tue/Wed our nanny (#2) got sick and couldn't make it. I was super bummed but understanding since I wouldn't want a sick person around Tyler anymore. Of course, it was tough though since Will and I had to cover. At least it was just two days.

Thursday morning we headed over to Hacienda Heights with Tyler. Man, I forget how much stuff we have to pack when you travel with a baby. We were filled to the brim of my car! Everything from a jumperoo to a baby bathtub. We totally need a bigger car.

I've been so busy today that this will be a very weak, short post. Sorry! I'll try to add more pictures to make up for the lack of content. But basically, lots of Thanksgiving photos - Tyler got to meet his cousins for the first time (Annie 3, Adam almost 2, and Ryan - only 2 months older than Tyler!).

So my dad busted out the old walker that my brother used when he was a kid. This is 30 years ago! It was hilarious, Tyler couldn't even touch the floor - and the whole thing looked so ancient. No leaving alone unsupervised! Tyler looked really confused in it.
Here's Tyler and Ryan. I love the pictures of them together - they're so close in age! Its so fun watching them together and interacting. I'm hoping the next time I'm pregnant, Kareen will be too! hehe! :) It'll be really nice for our kids to all grow up as good friends!

Tyler was so curious about Ryan - he would just stare at him - probably excited to see someone his own size!
Cousins!
Baby conference. :) Ryan loved the jumperoo too! They would take turns jumping in it and squealing. Tyler wasn't too much of a fan of the walker though, he couldn't even touch the floor!
Here are my parents and their 4 grandkids! Of all our aunts/uncles here, my dad is the only one that has any grandchildren; and up until last year - he was the only one that had any of his kids married (and we all are!). I think my dad's pretty lucky that we're all married - a lot of his friends have lots of single kids they're trying to hook each other up with still.
Here's my dad and Tyler and Ryan. Tyler seems so stocky compared to Ryan! That's almost 40 pounds of baby!
My mom and Ryan - he's getting way heavy for her to carry.
My mom and Tyler and bottle. He was starting to get fussy again with a bottle, but my mom put a quick end to that! Here's Tyler arching his back, unhappy with a bottle.
Here's Tyler afterwards, chewing on the bottle nipple! My mom has some magical power or something.
Thanksgiving dinner - Prime Rib! Will made it and OOOOHH it was delicious. We might as well have been at Lawrys. I helped make the creamed spinach and creamed corn. Oh, I made the creamy horseradish - and oh my - it was SOOO good! yum yum.
Oh yes, and we got Guitar Hero III for the Wii! I really suck, but everyone else seems really good (except Will, hehe). Here's Andy playing. Him, Kareen and my brother in law Ken are really good. Like really good.
This was a funny moment. Ken (my brother in law) had just driven away and Annie and Adam were outside. The moment they saw him drive off they both started bawling and crying!!
Kareen and Tyler! Next time they meet again will be Christmas!
We took Tyler for another walk in our kate spade stroller. I love him in it!
Tyler enjoys getting his booty washed after pooping anywhere. :)
Tyler and his teething keys. This picture makes him look so ... so...greedy or something heehee, with the drool and everything.
Tyler loves his Jumperoo! Thank goodness it grows with him and can adjust to different lengths.
Here's Will and Tyler! I'm quite thankful this Thanksgiving for having such a wonderful and helpful hubby and cute baby!
We tried putting Tyler back into his swing today. He really seemed to not like it anymore, but this time we adjusted the swing seat angle and also put in his activity bar - he didn't seem to mind it too much. Look at his double chin!Tyler ready to stroll!I recently ordered some stuff from Babycenter and to get to a minimum to qualify for free shipping, I bought this babyGund lovey - its basically a little blanket with a cute pig head. Yes, I know it's pink. They also had a blue puppy one, but Tyler is totally a little pig (Chinese Zodiac people! - although he is quite chubby eh...) so I went with that one. I'm hoping he'll really like it and it'll grow with him. But its totally up to him of course! Here is Tyler's 20 week photo!

Happy 1st Thanksgiving for Tyler! And many more to come for this happy baby!

Prime rib was surprisingly easy. Just a lot of time waiting for it to be ready!

And yes... I have no secret talent with guitars (real or in video games).
