happy 3 weeks!

Tyler is 3 weeks old today! Wow! I still remember when we were counting his age in like '2 1/2 days' or something - and now its been three weeks! At his 2 week appointment he weighed in at 7 pounds 13 ounces - 12 whole ounces more than when he was born! So I have finally let myself stop worrying that he's getting enough food. FINALLY!

so lately Tyler's been going through a growth spurt - those nights where he would sleep 5-6 hours and I'd freak out and wake him to eat? gone! Lately he's been like clockwork - every 2 hours-ish he's awake and hungry. Sometimes even sooner! I keep track of all his eating/diapers and sometimes I'm like - no way he just ate! This shirt totally says it all!I got a sling! I really love it and it seems that Tyler likes it too. I got a Mama's Milk sling in black (so Will can use it too) and I think I'm getting the hang of how it works. We also got this 'Miracle Blanket' for swaddling but it still seems to make Tyler hot when we use it. He's quite picky on how he sleeps - he prefers to sleep on me! I'm trying to get him to sleep on his tummy - but of course I'm super paranoid so I'm trying it out on his naps during the day with me staring at him. I can't help it! He 's so tiny still - that's a burp cloth that we used as a temporary blanket! :)Tyler makes funny faces when he's sleeping - he likes to stick his tongue out or pout his bottom lip. it's so cute! I finally caught one on camera when we were in the car!Today my brother met Tyler for the first time (he just got back from China last night). Unfortunately Tyler wasn't in the greatest mood at the time :( - this growth spurt makes him pretty cranky if he doesn't get fed immediately! Here's Lindon and Tyler!
I'm really liking the teddy bear that Yao got Tyler - it is so super soft! Here's Will/I with the bear and Tyler with the bear too! Happy 3 weeks Tyler!
