6 weeks left!

Wow can you believe it, its June already! the countdown begins till mid July! Time to recap!

Will and I are finally pretty much all moved in - we bought a dining room
set today! Who knew it would take so long to choose a set - it was pretty exhausting. We're still looking for a coffee table for our living room but I think I'm going to give up for now. I suck at making decisions anyway!

First, here's a picture we took of Mojo's shadow on the stair ledge. I thought it looked so halloween-y! :) mojo loves hanging out and sprawling on the stairs - its new to him! we're waiting for the day when he flops do
wn and falls off the stairs as well. hehe. A couple weeks ago we went to our First Drive-Thru movie at the Orange County fairgrounds. I've always wanted to go to one actually, and we happened to hear on the news about ''Opening Night' of the StarLite Drive-Thru showing Shrek 3! The 8pm showing was sold out online, but we managed to get tickets to the 10pm one. There were news vans there too! We got coffee ahead of time (way pass my bedtime!) but I tried not to drink a lot since it would be so annoying to have to go to the bathroom cuz the bathroom is alllll the way in the back of the lot. It was definitely different watching it at a drive-thru, although I don't think we'd do it again. Fun first experience though! Here's a picture of our view of the screen, and the next is me with a SMALL popcorn. Yes, I said SMALL!
At my last doctor appointment 2 weeks ago (before the one I just had on Friday), they did a growth scan to check the size of our little baby boy! He was 4 pounds already and that put hims about at 62% for his age. It was really exciting - our baby looked so much different than before in the 2d ultrasound. This is most likely the last ultrasound I'll be having. The lady told us that he's in 'launch position' - his head was down and facing to my left. She showed us how he was positioned and now it makes sense where I'm feeling a lot of pressure a lot - its his little butt!! ahh too cute.oh yes! we also went to Medieval Times in Buena Park! something we've never done either before and we triple dated with two of my girlfriends Tiff and Heidi. These girls were my bridesmaids too! It was fun - although we waited forever for our food! Its amazing how excited people get for their team - they cheer like crazy! Unfortunately, our knight didn't win. Here's Will/me, Tiff/Brian and Heidi/Geoff.
I can't remember the last time Will/I actually saw a movie opening night. But we actually did! One of my friends got a group of tickets for the opening night of Pirates of the Caribbean 3 at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. So actually we did two things we almost never do that night - saw an opening night movie AND left orange county! heh. how much life has changed. Anyway, these were 'VIP' tickets that had assigned seating so we didn't have to wait in line (which I hate doing!) and it came with popcorn and a drink! Plus they had actual sets and costumes from the movie there as well as Pirate impersonators. There were actually people in the audience that were dressed up pirate-style too! What else has happened. oh yes, had dinner with my grandmother and dad also. everytime I see my grandmother, she always tells me to walk slower. I came back from the bathroom (after really needing to go - what else is new!) and she told me I was walking too fast. :) Oh yes, at the 99 Ranch Plaza on Jeffrey @ the 5, they opened this yogurt place called YogurtLand. Totally a copy of Pinkberry - but CRAZY packed. Its different that they have a lot more flavors and you can pile on as many toppings as you want. Then they weigh it - its like 30 cents / ounce. They're really smart though - they give you giant plastic cups that make you fill it up like crazy! verrrrry smart.

Yesterday was Will's grandmother's 89th birthday. We headed up and had lunch at this Thai place in Pasadena called Soladang. Not bad! Will's parents wanted to check out the maserati dealership nearby (yes - you read right!). I seriously love that car - it is SO beautiful and sleek. Afterwards, we had ice cream cake at Will's parents place and looked at a ton of dining table sets unsuccessfully. exhausting!
Today was our whole-day 'Preparing for Childbirth' class that our hospital offers (for a fee of course!). 9-4pm! It was super exhausting and VERY informative. I definitely had to shield my eyes for parts of it. We did meet another couple though - seemed very similar to us! I'm looking forward to making friends with other soon-to-be-first-time parents! 2+ weeks left of work till I go on maternity leave. WHOOHOO!!
