Looking forward to having time with Kareen staying with us! With a full car of 4 adults and 3 kids, Tyler was excited to sit with me in the 3rd row of our SUV.
Took the kids to see an early showing of Frozen in the theaters. Only $6 a ticket before noon!
Monday night my parents were back in town so they came down for dinner, along with my brother's family and my in-laws.
Tuesday morning we took the kids to the Discovery Science Center. They had a "Noon Years's Eve" event where we celebrated the New Year at noon instead of midnight. Cute idea!
Urban Plates for lunch, and tried out Creamistry afterward.
Dinner Tuesday night for NYE was Five Crowns with the kids at 5pm. YUM prime rib.
Went home and did the countdown with the East Coast at 9pm so we could get the kids down to bed. Cheers!
Video of celebrating NYE even with a little confusion...
I don't think I even stayed awake until midnight! Wednesday morning, New Year's Day, we headed to my parents' place in Hacienda Heights to celebrate my brother's birthday. The kids volunteered to help sweet up leaves in the backyard.
Look a mini surprise. Temporary though, waah.
Friday happy hour with my girlfriends at Ra!
School resumed for Katelyn on Thursday and she came back with sentences she had written!
Saturday morning was our friend Rob's sons' Colin's birthday at a mini indoor playground in Hacienda Heights. Interesting place, the kids had fun.

Afterward Tyler had a basketball game.
And then a bowling night with the Weis/Namgoong afterward.
After bowling we had a quick dinner/snack stop at Class 302. Katelyn wasn't a fan of a donut.
Xmas cards! This was just one wall of the many I had.
Tyler's first injury, from sports perhaps?
