Getting close to Halloween! Kids are getting excited and having a good time at school.
Mojo is getting older. He sleeps a lot more than I remember, and is really affectionate. Will come and sit with you wherever you are. He just wants some snuggling sometimes!
Snapped a quick photo of Katelyn and some of her friends at school one morning. The only downside of her Montessori is that her circle of friends doesn't really exist all that much. They don't play with each other much, they're busy working.
Red Ribbon Week this week. Tuesday was Twin day and the 3 boys all wore their Basketball shirt to match. The three amigos!
Soccer practice that evening.
Wednesday was Katelyn's day at Disneyland. She was so excited! Mommy and KK day. We met up with my friend Joy and her daughter Tess. They had a great time!
We even saw the Evil Queen!
Mojo all cuddled up!
Ballerinas.
Mini playdate at Woodbury Town Center Friday after school. Katelyn insisted on showing her friends her Ariel doll.
That morning I needed to help my friend Jen - had a really painful cornea abrasion (accidentally poked by her daughter), and her husband is out of town. Poor thing! Tried to help however I could. Picked up Kaden from school that afternoon and got him ready for baseball practice. Picked up Kylee from ICDC and brought her home to have dinner with us. Later Stacy came and picked up the kids.
Halloween is almost here! The kids finally tried on their costumes that I had gotten a month ago on sale at Target. Unfortunately Katelyn's were WAY too huge. But we have a bunch of princess dresses, so never fear!
We had such a good time at the Discovery Science Center previously, that we decided to go as a family Saturday morning. Katelyn was excited to see the spider exhibit! The Ripley's Believe It or Not exhibit was really interesting, even the second time around.
Video of Tyler and KK dancing wildly:
We only spent an hour or so at the Discovery Science Center until we were done. Headed to the Great Park's Pumpkin Harvest event afterward. Wow, it got hot quick! Met up with my friend Joy and her family. The kids had a great time while I melted.
Saturday afternoon - time for some Trunk or Treating. Bonnie's church puts on this huge event where the kids can trick or treat out of decorated car trunks, and lots of other fun kid activities. Tyler and Jordan were both ninjas.
Video of KK on the pony ride:
Video of KK's dangerous ride down the bouncy slide:
After their fun, they still enjoyed more fun!
Sunday. More Halloween festivities. The Weis came over and we carved pumpkins! The kids were supposed to help but they were so grossed out by the seeds.
And we got a sneak peek from our photo shoot!
