This past week Tyler had a fever and got sent home from school! Poor thing. He didn't seem too bothered by it though - we're thinking it could be just due to his teething (3 molars coming in!). Hardest part was that he would wake up in the middle of the night and want to watch videos on YouTube or play in the dark with his toys. It was tough few days for us! Luckily he was better by the end of the week. Tyler's school, the ICDC, is celebrating it's 20th anniversary, and Will/I got interviewed by the local news channel about our wonderful experience there! I'll be sure to post a link next week! Here's a photo of Tyler enjoying storytime.
Tyler was acting so funny at the slide at school. All the kids were going down so he got up there and just sat there while a bunch of kids went down the other one. His teacher says he loves going down the slide usually - must have been stage fright with Will snapping away pictures.
He finally decided to go but then changed his mind at the last minute. Too late! Tyler tried to hang on, but was unsuccessful.
Here's a video of Tyler's last minute change of heart, hehe. check out the little girl that totally cuts! Here's a video of the kiddies going crazy over the bubbles. Tyler even says bubbles!
Here's a video of Tyler making basketball hoops!
This weekend we visited the Irvine Regional Park's pumpkin patch with Will's parents. It was SO crowded! Tyler wasn't too interested in the actual pumpkins, but he had a good time walking around and people watching.
They had a bunch of different cutouts where you could put your face through for photos. This one below had 3 off them together for the three little pigs. At first Tyler had no idea what to do, but then all of a sudden he loved it! He started walking from one hole to the other and smiling through the holes. Everyone on the other side was smiling and cheering him on. He's such a little flirt.
I wonder how Tyler is going to measure up next year!
Happy 2nd Halloween Tyler! Hopefully he'll let us put the little chicken costume on him in a couple weeks. :)
Afterwards we played in a little playground. Irvine Regional Park is HUGE! There were a ton of birthday parties going on - although kind of sucks since you have to pay for parking. Tyler loved going down this slide!
Ooh! This weekend we also had an adult/toddler playdate at our friend's house. It was WAY too much fun - they had Karaoke Revolution (on the PS2) and I totally monopolized that game. Now I'm bugging Will for us to get it - it is SOOO much fun! ... not that we ever really have time though...we have Guitar Hero and it just sits and gathers dust unless my sister visits. Sigh. Anyway, us parents had fun, as well as the kids! I love this picture below - the toddlers all got a microphone (Tyler's is a play one!) and were babbling into them. Too cute!
And lastly, Tyler in the playhouse at school. He loves sticking his head through the windows. I get a lot of good ideas of what toys I want to buy when I visit their school. Let's see, 1) playhouse, 2)tricycle, 3) air mattress, 4) musical instruments, etc.
Doh, YouTube is doing some maintenance, so I'm not able to upload any videos yet! Check back later if they're not up yet!Have a good week!
