34 weeks - Tyler is sick.. again...

hey everyone! Wow, can you believe Tyler is going to be 8 months this weekend? I know, I think I say that every week, but I seriously can not believe how quickly time goes by. Last week was a pretty ordinary week - I went into the office 2 days I think! Oh wait, maybe it was just one. I don't remember. Anyway, Tyler is sick.. AGAIN. We had just gotten past the snot/runny nose/sneezing. Totally sucks! He was super fussy and miserable today - good thing there's Baby Tylenol! Here's a close up of Tyler - he's so serious here huh! Will's parents came by this past weekend to help watch Tyler while we cleaned out our garage. We were in SERIOUS need of cleaning it out, we had accumulated so much junk in there. I should mention, we didn't really 'clean' it out, more like... reorganized... the whole point was to see if we could fit both our cars in there (it IS a 2 car garage...). We haven't tried yet though. So now that mojo has been completely banned from our bedroom, he's found himself a new spot to sulk in. We only found him here after looking through the complete house! poor mojo. Our at-least-weekly Yogurt Land trip. This picture makes me think Tyler has a bib on ready to yogurt. haha! I did buy some YoBaby yogurt the other day, and I've been thinking about giving him some. He seems to be kind of interested in eating solids again - this week he had green beans, an apple/sweet potato combo and pears. yum! Oh, and he's loving Cheerios too now! (we were giving him the Gerber puffs before, and Cheerios is WAY cheaper!). Next up, cooked pasta?? (that's what the ladies at our daycare said! From around 8 months, they start giving the infants snacks in the morning, and they said that Tyler always looks really curious and tries to crawl over when the older infants are snacking. Hmmm..) Here's Tyler and me with Sandia and her little one Ethan. Sandia lives closer to Yogurt Land than we do and it was her first time going! how SHOCKING huh! This picture makes me think that maybe those percentages are right, Tyler DOES have a small head... they are totally going to be friends. :) Here our some shots from our daycare. It is the cutest thing - they have collages up on the walls. When we first started Tyler there, they had us bring in some photos that they made into a collage so he would have pictures of us to see during the day. I'll need to take a picture of his, because it is SO cute. I even thought about asking the girl who made it if she would consider making a scrapbook for us. haha. I am SO uncreative when it comes to that. Anyway, here's a collage they made of their buggy rides. Check out Tyler - he's at the top right corner, and also the 2 photos lined in red second row from the bottom. How adorable is that! Infant Art - need I say more? Here's Tyler's on the wall (bottom row, last one to the right). I love his little handprints. I can't wait to develop the photos that they take of him at daycare (we leave disposable cameras). Eating out with Tyler has gotten so much easier now. Here he is after devouring a teething biscuit. It is SUCH a mess, but totally worth it since Will and I get to eat with both hands free! Tyler looks like such a little piggy here. My parents came by this past weekend also, and brought Yogurt Land! yum! I can't believe he is sitting and playing with this toy all by himself now. We got this from our baby shower and its one of those that 'grow with baby'. I still remember Tyler lying underneath it and watching the flashing lights - and now he's sitting there and pushing the buttons himself. So crazy!

Here's Tyler playing on his toy piano.

Tyler crawling around in his playpen. He used to always want to go towards the TV and fireplace, but now that we have the safety gates - he always makes a beeline towards the exit!

And lastly, his 34 week photo. I know, short post, but between Tyler being sick and us exhausted, we just haven't taken that many photos. Hopefully he'll be better soon!
have a good week!

He's such a strong-willed baby now! He forms opinions on what he does or doesn't like.

Green peas and green beans have now made it on his dislike list. :)

However, he loves puffs and Cheerios. He devours all Cheerios that come into his sight.
