happy Labor Day!

oops! I'm one day late in my update - but in my defense - our internet has been down since Friday! Turns out our super old cable modem decided to give out and we had to wait for a technician to come today to get it all up and running again. I was dying without the internet!

Alright, so what went on this last week? We had quite a busy weekend! Friday Will and I went shopping at Irvine Spectrum - I was looking for something to wear to a wedding this weekend. I was unsuccessful - going to a wedding so soon after having a baby? NOT fun. And WOW it was super hot! Tyler was very good though, and hung out with Will in the different fitting room waiting areas! We also took some portraits at Target - hopefully they came out good - we'll get them back next week.
Friday night my dad, grandmother and cousin Irene dropped by and hung out for a bit. We tried to go to Yogurt Land afterwards but the line was ridiculous - out the door and around the corner!!

Saturday Will and I headed to a new Target that had opened near our old Watermarke place (there are seriously like 4 or 5 Targets within a 5 mile radius of us...). We put Tyler in the baby Bjorn and he loved it (if loved = slept the whole time)! I love the little hat he has too!
In the afternoon Will's parents came by to visit. There was a moment when Will's mom was holding him on the couch and I was sitting next to her. Tyler was in a good mood and giving little smiles, and then he turned his head to the left and saw me and gave me a GIANT gummy smile. It was so adorable!! Oh yes, Will's mom actually changed a diaper too!

Later on, Tyler had some more visitors - this time it was Tyler's Uncle's parents. (Kareen's husband Andy's parents). Saturday night we took Tyler out to eat at this new BBQ place at the Tustin Marketplace - Joey's Smokin BBQ or something. Tyler slept the whole time! This one guy waiting in line was telling us how cute Tyler was and asked, 'what is he, like 4-5 months?". Yikes! Sunday Jeff/Joan/Jake/Olivia came over to hang out and then we headed to Five Crowns for dinner! This was our first time taking Tyler to fine dining - and it was definitely semi-stressful. Five Crowns is my favorite prime rib restaurant down here - they're located in Corona del Mar. Tyler was a little fussy and Will and I took turns walking him a bit after he woke up. Sigh. Definitely didn't enjoy my prime rib as much as I normally do!
Yesterday - Labor Day! - we stayed home and watched the US Open. I can't wait to get back on the court! Boo James Blake lost!
Today Shirley and Jesse came to visit! Its always lots of fun when they're in the states and I'm glad we got a chance to see them since we'll all be so busy this weekend! We had dinner with them at Scott's Seafood next to South Coast. Yummm I love their seabass. Scott's is a nice restaurant too but thankfully its a Tuesday night and they weren't very busy.
