5 weeks!

hello hello! So I try to update every week on his little weekly birthday, because I know if I don't - then I'll start slacking off and who knows when I'll post!

So..its been 5 weeks now! Tyler has DEFINITELY grown bigger. This pass week he's:

• graduated from newborn diapers to size 1
• turned officially 'one month' and had a mini-celebration with family
• took pictures at Kiddie Kandids! (although he slept the whole time)
• went to my parent's place in Hacienda Heights and saw where mommy grew up!
  
• developed baby acne! ahh!
  
• ate out at a restaurant and went to Costco for the first time!

Sometimes I worry that Tyler is gaining weight too quickly - I think when we weighed him on our scale at home he was coming up to be 10+ pounds! yikes! He doesn't have his 6 week checkup (plus shots!) until next week so we'll have to wait until then to know for sure how much bigger he's gotten. I read lots of contradicting things on the internet about whether or not you can overfeed a breastfed baby. Oh well - we'll find out next week!Sunday was a big day for us! We stopped by my parent's place in the morning where Tyler got to meet my grandmother who was visiting from Taiwan. She's great with kids, and just finished helping my older sister in Houston take care of her newborn for a couple months. Afterwards we headed over to Will's grandmother's house where Tyler got to meet another one of his great grandmother's AND many aunts. He was perfect and very good at both places and let everyone hold him and didn't fuss at all! Unfortunately, I was starting to get a headache in the afternoon. For dinner, we all ate at this Chinese restaurant where we had booked a room and dinner course. It was nice having everyone together and amazingly Tyler was GREAT and slept through the entire dinner! Unfortunately for me though, my headache became a migraine and I felt like throwing up. Ugh - poor me and nothing I could do! Oh well, thank goodness Tyler was great - it could have been a lot worse!

A rare moment - Tyler actually sleeping on his back! He very very rarely does this unless he just finished eating and fell asleep. The second I try to move him though he'll wake right up!
Tummy time for Tyler! He's got strong neck muscles that we want to make stronger!Still needs work on those muscles.. hehe..
And here are a couple pictures from his photo shoot! I didn't realize the photographer had only taken pictures of him where he's sleeping - it's my fault though - I was too busy chatting it up with a couple other new moms there! Grrr.. oh well - next time he'll need some with his eyes open!
