4 weeks!

wow time goes by so quick - another week and Tyler is now 4 weeks old!
Let's see, what's gone on this pass week? Tyler is growing bigger! We took him to see the doctor last Tuesday and he was weighing in (with his onesie on and a diaper though) at 9 pounds 5 ounces! So my fears of not feeding him enough are now all gone. Now I'm worrying that maybe he's eating TOO much! When I asked the nurse if that was a possibility she just laughed and asked if I was a first time mom. Ok ok, so I am a bit paranoid, and the nurses all seem to know us now so that's not necessarily a bad thing right? But wow 9+ pounds! His next scheduled checkup is at 6 weeks - we'll see how big he is then! He makes so many facial expressions now, although I'm sure most of them are involuntary- but still! And he's able to follow an object left to right with his eyes - although he doesn't seem to be really focusing on it but you can tell he hears the jingling and then turns his head to follow the sound! Is it just me or is his double chin getting larger? :)so Tyler is now a tummy sleeper. GASP! yup yup. He's so cute, he loves to scoot when he sleeps until he gets to the side of the bassinet. It's so cute seeing his head pressed up against the mesh. Good thing he isn't in his real crib yet or he'd wake up unhappy with the wood beams. Also, we're really trying to get him to not get used to falling asleep on mommy! It makes it really hard to do anything, I can't tell you how many times during the day I've been in mad need to go to the bathroom... One thing I've noticed though, now that he sleeps on his tummy, he farts more! It's really cute hehe, and helpful to him too! Here's Tyler's head pressed up against the mesh!I've been reading a bunch of different books trying to figure out what the best way to get Tyler to sleep through the night is. Baby steps I guess, I can't expect it to happen overnight! But as I'm writing this right now, he's been napping for almost 3 hours which is amazing to me since its night time and he's usually very fussy at night!

Here's a picture of Tyler in our Kate Spade bouncer. Yes, I said Kate Spade! This was one of the first baby items we bought when we found out we were first pregnant (ok the first baby item we bought was a kate spade stroller...) and I'm so excited to use it! We had tried it out the first week when Tyler was home but he was in a super fussy mood and wasn't having any of it! I was really worried that he wasn't going to ever like it but we've been using it when we're downstairs (pretty much only when we have company so very rarely) and he seems to like it! whew!
Here's our 4 week shot with his teddy bear. Any difference from last week? Probably not that noticeable but we'll see as time goes by! I need Will to make these shots more consistent - last week his feet were folded in...Oh yes and we had a few more visitors! Here's Tyler with my mother-in-law and Kareen's mother-in- law. They were here over the weekend and Tyler was an ANGEL! He let them hold him almost the entire time and never fussed! Will and I were like ... you little performer!Here's Tyler and our friend Chrissy! Ok, so since it was like 6pm-ish, Tyler was starting his fussy time and was NOT a little angel. Its funny, until this time, only my brother has really seen Tyler get really fussy and cry, but I guess we can't have people thinking we have a perfect non-crying baby! :) The other pictures we took with flash were brighter but this was the only one where Tyler wasn't covering his face!
