Firs things first - last week we had our 20 week ultrasound! Our little baby looks good! I was kind of bummed since they put us on an ultrasound machine that wasn't as clear as the GE one we were on last time. I was like - is that the...head? Luckily they switched us over to the GE machine at the end so the doctor could look closely at the heart. He even did a quick 3D (or was it 4D?) look for us but our little baby had his hand on his cheek! I'll post screenshots of that once we get our VHS converted to a DVD. Here is the newest picture of our little boy though! (We only got a couple pictures on the GE machine). Our technician called one machine the 'volvo' and the other the 'bmw'! ha! The first two pictures are from the 'volvo' machine - you can see his little feet! You can totally see a different in the first two pictures and the last one huh!

I am getting bigger definitely I think - and looking much more pregnant! Today though I had a moment where I realized that I should really try to enjoy this pregnancy instead of rushing through it! Its gone by so fast - July is going to be here in no time! Our little baby is moving around a lot more now - well at least I'm feeling it more now! Today I gave a training at work and after I finished talking for an hour, he was moving around a lot! It was so cute!! :) We had a busy weekend also! Last Friday Will and I headed down to San Diego to meet up with Kareen (she was there for a work conference). We had dinner at a yummy Italian restaurant in the GasLamp district (mmm my risotto was SO good!) and then headed over to the Ghiradellhi's (spelling?) they had there. It was just like the one in San Francisco! Kareen and I shared a double scoop sundae and of course Will had his strawberry sundae!

Afterwards, we headed over to the Marriott and headed to the rooftop bar where they had this great firepit! We hung out there for a while (I had a diet coke! caffeine yikes!) because it had such a nice ambience. Its been a really long time since I've been in an environment where people were drinking and I had to watch only. It wasn't as bad! :) It reminded me of this bar we went to in New York that (hotel Gansevoort?) that was on the rooftop was well.
The next morning Kareen had a meeting so Will/I headed over to the San Diego Wildlife Animal Park. I have been wanting to go for SO long! We went to the San Diego Zoo last year and Sea World before but never got around to getting to the Park. Also, they were having an online special where the price was only $20 a ticket up to that weekend only! So it was perfect timing! I didn't really know what to expect, but was excited anyway! We saw a TON of animals, and took lots of pictures! Herre are some random ones:Will and I on the tram:
Its the African Safari behind me!
See the little baby elephant?
This was Will's favorite - the meerkat!
My brother had called and mentioned a little town called Julian. Supposedly, we use to go there when we were a lot younger to go camping in the area with our family and we would stop by this little old town to get their delicious apple pies! I had absolutely no recollection of this place! I talked to Kareen, and she remembered it too! So I convinced Will for us to head over there and check it out. BAD idea! It took forever to get there since it was windy field roads with slow cars! I fell asleep and by the time we got there - there was SNOW on the ground! around San Diego?! it was so weird! But anyway, we found the Julian Pie Company and I think I was hoping for some flood of memories - but NADA. we bought a pie and headed back to downtown to pick up Kareen. It was a really old town though - very rustic looking - we even saw a horse drawn carriage! Plus there seemed to be a lot of tourists too!
Once we got back to Irvine, we met up with my parents and brother for dinner at our place and then headed over to Chinese Cultural Center in Irvine where they were having this Chinese Lantern festival. It wasn't exactly what I thought it was going to be , but we went because my mom was performing a Chinese folk dance with some of her friends! That's always fun to watch! That's my mom on the way left in this picture:
Sunday we looked at more property in Irvine with Will's parents. We have looked at seriously EVERY SFR in Irvine in our price range. Actually we've moved our price range up TWICE since we've started looking - there are some things we really require in a home and our original price range was just not cutting it. We had finally narrowed it down to a handful, and it was good to have Kareen along with us so she could give us her opinion too. Keep your fingers crossed for us!
